Surprise! We’re not done with Valentine’s Day yet! Hihi! Till Saturday, there’s a slight chance you’ll see this topic often on the blog… what can I say! We’re simply hoping this will inspire as much as our lady and guy audience to be prepared for this holiday. I don’t know about you, but each year, Valentine’s Day means date night to a restaurant with my man. In fact, he has to choose the so-say restaurant this year, because yes, we’re one of those couples who try to change it up. Well, since going to a restaurant isn’t something out of the box, I’ve said to myself that we just had to dress chic! It’s sadly often a tradition that fades over time: you know dressing up. It’s as if we were allowed to wear jeans 24/7, alright you probably can, but it doesn’t mean you can’t put a few extra minutes to upgrade your date night outfit. And it’s so much fun to see the reaction on your guy/girl’s face when you look like a million bucks. And ladies, what’s the point of buying countless cute dresses if you never wear them? Valentine’s Day is one of the days when I spend a lot of time in my closet in order to create a killer outfit that will surprise my boyfriend even if we’ve been together for over two years and don’t share the same taste fashion-wise. In the end, I just want to hear from him that I’m the prettiest girl in the room. I just want to rekindle our love even if our romance is never dead. I want to remind him that he finds me attractive, because in our everyday lives and crazy schedules, it’s a little detail we tend to forget. February 14th isn’t a gift type of holiday in my option, well, I still enjoy receiving flowers and chocolate don’t get me wrong, but for me it’s a holiday where you prove to your partner you’re still into him, to give an extra spark to your relationship. Even if you say this should be a constant effort in your routine no matter which day – which should be applied anyways- , it’s quite often forgotten and that’s where passion goes to die. Let’s avoid that!
So today, here are two outfits perfect for Valentine’s Day featuring the color of love by excellence. We didn’t want to go overboard with the red and sexy dresses, instead I’ve decided to keep my bohemian vibe by wearing a kimono and Kime opted for a more classic option. What’s great about this outfit post is that both outfits come from the same boutique! No need to spend an endless day at the mall with your girlfriends! Same boutique with different choices… best of both worlds! Which outfit would you be tempting to wear on Valentine’s Day?
