Last Friday, we were invited by Olay Fresh Effects to live an over the top crazy night, a mini staycation, as we call it, downtown Montreal! At 17h30 sharp, right after we clocked out, we were already sipping cocktails at Chuck Hughes’ bar, Le Garde-Manger.
Obviously, we went for their Bloody Caesar for the aperitif, since it isn’t famous for no reason, all thanks to the enormous crab claw perched on your cocktail. As for the appetizers, we both opted for an octopus, that was disgustingly delicious in its emulsion chorizo. As for our main dish, Camille chose an other appetizer of fiddleheads with almonds, parsley and so on, along with two scallops coming with their shells: D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S ! Virgine chose the lobster risotto that was equally as orgasmic as Camille’s dish. Truly, Le Garde-Manger is a restaurant we highly recommend, although it’d be more for a special occasion since their menu is indeed really pricy.
After our epic meal, we went to the Olympia Theater for Sugar Sammy’s show En français SVP. We laughed non stop during the show, although there were of course a few sexist jokes that didn’t make us laugh as much (but eh, coming from Sugar Sammy, you’ve got to expect it…).
Finally, we headed towards the W hotel for the night, and for sure we took off our makeup, deep cleaned moisturized our faces. Olay had the delicate attention to give us a goodie bag full of Olay Fresh Effects products that waiting for us in the room… Camille tested the products and made a video! Here’s the result after our 2-3 try that weren’t that conclusive:
List of the products we used:
– Cleansing wipes S’Wipe Out
– Out of this swirled cleanser
– Dew over moisturizing gel
– Eye contour cream Bright on schedule
And we also took the time to have fun while taking pictures:
THANK YOU so much Olay for this amazing night!
