Fashion & Beauty

I truly wanted to start off this article by writing: "THANK YOU BABY JESUS, FINALLY"

Seriously though, I found that (it's a yearly recurrence) winter was horrible, disgusting… and all other uncool adjectives that would describe winter. My face looks like sh*t in winter, and what can I say about my hair… looks like hay! Yet, spring has officially begun meaning summer shouldn't too far behind either. To celebrate the new season's arrival, I've decided to browser on several websites such as Vogue, Cosmopolitan and others where they feature un-buyable pieces to make a list of 10 pieces to wear this spring.

Here goes my list that will unfortunately make you break that piggy bank of yours… Are you ready?

1. Striped top

Stripes are making a comeback this season. Opt for a sleeveless blouse. That say, you'll be able to re-wear it during summer.

* Why not go a step further by getting a long striped shirt-dress.

2- Tribal printed kimono (or dress)

I go crazy each year! This has definitely become a must every spring (obviously during summer as well). Wear this item with a statement necklace, see point 9. Go ahead, show off your inner bohemian side. Summer is perfect for that.

3. Jean jacket

Well, this comes at no surprises but a jean jacket is indeed a BASIC to own. If you don't already possess one of these, run to the store. Personally, I've worn mine for years and never get tired of it. This spring, this bad boy will instantly become my BFF that I shall bring wherever my heart desires.

* Why not wear a longer jean jacket, to spice things up a bit…

4. Pants romper (my crush since 1876)

Have no clue what to wear at the groceries store, girls night out, on your date… well look no further, a long romper would be perfect! As for its versatility and practicality, it is why a long romper figures on my favourite pieces' list.

6. Denim dress

This year, I bought my very first jean dress and as of now… I always wear the latter. I'm madly in love. I wear this beauty as much to a classy happy hour with dressy booties as at work.

8. Floral accessories (borderline pastel)

I recently went to Aldo and I was astonished by their newest collection! Not only it's medicine for your health, but it's so pretty. Without a doubt, every girl needs floral and/or pastel accessories this spring.

9. Tribal statement necklace

I'd wear this statement necklace 24/7. The latter will complete an outfit in no time.

10. Rainboots

Evidently spring rimes with rain season… we then need those cute rainboots in order to survive through those gray boring days. Here's a particular model: the Jennifer from Kamik. Made in Quebec, these boots will last for awhile. Always a great investment.
