The boyfriend trend seems to be reappearing each season. What's great is how different the latter is incorporated year after year; whether it's with square jackets, loose fitted trousers or somewhat more sporty cuts, we truly love finding inspiration from our male friends.
Today, I consider my look being inspired by the latter since I'm wearing a jogger style bottom made of vegan leather; particularly from I Love Tyler Madison: local pro animal brand. I already own a pair in a similar cut from the label, yet in a black fabric. Here, we just have to take it up a notch since the texture of the fabric along with the colour is easily noticeable. I chose to pair the trouser with a 3/4 sleeve top from Unicorn Couture, an another local brand that offers different "statement" tops with embroidery detail. You can find the word "Chérie" (darling) on the left side of the chest, but since the latter is of the same colour, it's not as noticeable as the previous one. This is a trademark from the label since the latter offers other tops with quotes such as "Always Late", perfect for Camille if you ask me, in their collection. She'll share a few words with you on the subject in a future article.
I also have to acknowledge the glasses from Neubau. An Austria label which offers distinguished eyeglass frames. When I was offered to choose a pair, I decided to opt for a transparent one since I love an avant-garde look. Moreover, it's the exact opposite from what I used to wear; my old glasses were round and metallic. I love to have a pair at arms' reach allowing me to change my look according to my mood and what I'm wearing. These would be reserved for classic looks in neutral colours. Neubau glasses are available online or in several opticians throughout the province. To see all sale points, simply click here.
