Fashion & Beauty

My skin complexion is surely light and has the tendency of being dry and good buddy with redness during the cold season. In the spirit, I have to protect my skin and correctly cover the latter with adequate products. Since I have sensitive skin, I choose to buy costly makeup that retails around 22-55$. I decided to spoil myself on cosmetics since they're easy to use (I don't have many brushes, I simply use my hands -they're clean don't flip out!- and let's be honest here, my Dior concealer's case is just way too cute and brings me joy every morning once I look at it. That say, here are my favourite 5 beauty products I've been religiously using this winter.

#5 Enhancer Happy Light Serum Primer from Bourjois Paris

I apply this primer on my face before adding foundation. It brightens the complexion and instantly gives a healthy look. It provides hydration that is truly appreciated during cold and windy days. Also serves as an illuminator and primer in order for your makeup to last an entire day. This product is available in a matte or luminous finish.

With its texture that isn't too creamy nor waxy, this green colored stick camouflages perfectly my patches of redness. You can see how well the application of the product goes and how great it blends on your skin under your foundation. It holds, camouflages what needs to be hidden and the overall looks natural. Also available in yellow (neutralizes the livid spots), blue (brightens dull complexions) and apricot (for contouring). A true fave!

Truly my most cherished foundation. And believe me when I tell you I've tried over a dozen of beauty products throughout the years! This Teint Idole Ultra from Lancôme provides skin lifting, a radiant complexion, a coverage that isn't too heavy but entirely camouflages imperfections. Truly easy to use, I simply apply this product with the help of my fingers. Available in 20 shades, that say, everyone will be pleased!

#1 Dior's 2-in-1 Fix It Prime and Conceal

The last but not the least, a concealer that camouflages dark circles, imperfections, pores and fine wrinkles altogether. Leaving a flawless soft skin; it's the effect of an archetypal no-makeup with its silky texture and moistening effect. It also serves as a great primer for your lips before applying lipstick to avoid cracked lips. Honestly, worth every penny.
